Very Large Array Radio Telescopes
.
The Very Large Array Radio Telescopes is a unique astronomical observatory. Instead of using light and optics to produce an image, radio waves and energy are used.

The Very Large Array Telescope is actually a cluster or an array of 27 telescopes or antennas. The telescopes/antennas run along three separate tracks in a Y shaped configuration. Each track is approximately thirteen miles long. Nine antennas are present on each track. Instead of using optics and light, the antennas collect radio signals. These signals are then sent to a central location where they are analyzed and combined
